The former long-time Parramatta Eels captain Nathan Cayless and his wife Erin have relocated in the Hills district.

Having sold their West Pennant Hills home for $2.12 million, the couple have settled on a home in nearby Glenhaven.

They’ve spent $1.56 million on the custom-designed home which had a $1.5 million price guide.

Offered for the first time since built in the late 1980s, their new family home comes with split level layout.

Wrapped in verandas, there are a number of alfresco entertaining spaces.

Slate tiles, internal brickwork and timber panelling feature throughout the vast four bedroom home which is zoned for Samuel Gilbert Public School and Castle Hill High School attendance.

Earlier this year the couple sold their West Pennant Hills home for $2.12 million through Stone Hills District agents Jane Booty and Viv Mylott.

Set on 1690 sqm, the 1990s built home had five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a rumpus room.

The couple bought the home for $1,025,000, two years before Nathan hung up his boots.

The renovations to the home were undertaken before Erin started the Three Birds Renovation team with her best friends Lana Taylor and Bonnie Hindmarsh. Erin is the operations director of the business which attracts a huge online following of their renovations.

Now coaching the Eels feeder club Wentworthville Magpie, as well as being assistant manager at the New Zealand national team, Cayless played 259 games for the Eels over a 13 year career.
